Earth Day!

Well, happy Earth Day everyone!  I did not do anything FOR Earth Day, but I plan on continuing to recycle.  I am also planning on trying to eat more locally, in order to make my carbon footprint smaller.  Today I just went to class and took notes on paper.  Not very planet friendly, but I hate typing my notes for class.  So this class is really interesting, it is all about Vampires in literature and pop culture.  So Far we've read Dracula, and some Keats and Byron, to name a few, and we've been watching Buffy, and today we watched parts of The Hunger (1983) with David Bowie, Susan Sarandon, and Catherine Denevue.  Pretty cool.

Oh I almost forget, I got a role in a short film that a friend of mine wrote.  I auditioned and everything, so YAY!!!

Stuff- I've been a busy, busy bee

I know it's been a long while since my last post.  I've been really busy with life, sewing, cooking, and doing nerdy and life things.  I went to Wondercon in San Francisco which was a blast.  I met and shook hands with Adam Baldwin, the guy who played Jayne on Firefly, it was really cool and I managed not to make a fangirl mess of myself.

I made progress on my corset, and made a steampunk vest, which turned out really nice.  I'm very proud of it. I've been cooking a lot, and making up new dishes, adding them to my repertoire.
My social calendar has been really full, with birthdays and out of town visitors.  To top that all off, my boyfriend and I just celebrated our three year anniversary with a trip to Solvang California, the Danish village near Santa Barbara.  We ate really well and even went wine tasting at The Wandering Dog wine bar, tons of fun.

So I've been busy to say the least, and add into that school, my application for graduation has been preliminarily approved (YAY!) I just have to pass one class for my major.  I honestly don't know when I will have time to relax on my own, but I do have a whole bunch of stuff lined up with friends.
Last but not least, my boyfriend and my roommate just launched their webcomic (you go guys) check it out.
I also promise pictures soon, but right now it's too busy.
