Good news everyone!

I have not had much time to craft, sew, cook, or sleep lately because of life getting kinda crazy lately.

I have a job, well, actually I have two.  I am splitting a nanny position for two school aged kids with my mom, which is pretty cool, because I only pick them up sometimes.  I will eventually be transitioning to picking them up from school every day, but for right now I'm only there half the time.  The other job is at the In and Out Burger that just opened here in Redwood City (insert drooling here) I am a little apprehensive because I am a college graduate working at a fast food place, but I hear they are a pretty good company to work for, and the starting pay is decent.  So that's all that.

The movie I am in is done filming, it's currently being edited, and you can read all about it here.  I had a great time filming it and was really happy to get back into scripted acting.  Thanks to everyone who made it possible.

In other news I am back living with my parents so I can save money.  It's nice to be back around my critters all the time, and I had really missed my family.  My parents are remodeling the kitchen and you can read about that here which is my dad's blog.  (Seriously check it out)

My wonderful boyfriend draws a webcomic, and he and his writer (a friend of ours) will be at the Alternative Press Expo in San Francisco in October.  I could not be prouder of him.

A whole bunch of my friends are getting married or having babies, one is even in labor RIGHT NOW.  I want to wish all of them the most heartfelt congratulations.

I went to Comic-con in July and even participated in the Bioware Brawl.  I had a blast and am already planning for next year...
Here is a picture of me in my element, geekiness.

Yes that is me dressed as a character from Firefly, next to Buzz and Woody statues made out of Legos.

I am such a nerd.

After the convention, ther was the aforementioned moving, my birthday, my mom's birthday, my brother's birthday and a wrist issue which has resolved itself.  I'm still trying to figure out where all my stuff is.  Though I now can say I know how to drive a 14 foot moving truck.

I am also in the market for a new sewing machine, any suggestions?  It NEEDS to have a one step buttonhole, because I currently avoid buttons so I don't have to do buttonholes.  It's a sickness.

Oh and I cut my hair, pictures when I get them, it's still pretty new, so the only pictures I have of the haircut were at a wedding so my hair was up and curled and stuff, so they don't count.

If I've missed anything please let me know.
