Rum!

So last night I really wanted a rummy drink.  There was no coke or root beer in sight so I improvised.  It turned out quite yummy and as it was a rum based drink I gave it a pirate worthy name.
I give you The Murky Waters
1 1/2 Shots DARK rum
2 shots Orange Juice
1/2 Can Sprite or similar
Pour all over Ice (preferably the skull and crossbones ice cubes) in a tall glass and stir
Say YARRR! and enjoy

Blowing up aliens for a good cause

So I've said before that I am a gamer.  As I'm sure you have all heard by now there was a massive earthquake in Haiti.  As I am a poor college student I was unable to give money to relief funds like I would have liked, but Bungie  (the company that created Halo) had an event that would raise money for relief funds.  My Boyfriend, my roomate, her boyfriend and I played several rounds towards money for Haiti.  All in all, the Be A Hero campaign raised $100,000 for Haiti.  Many thanks to Bungie for giving us poor unemployed people a way to help raise some money for a good cause.
